doinkz. =/

nothing much these days except that i went back imm to lunch with ariel and grace yesterday and erm, my whole life seems to revolve around CORS bidding and phonecalls at night. =/ bidding is especially stressed this time round and i think it's due to the 'media writing' module that caused me to be so pissed/traumatised/stressed with bidding. anyway, the CORS people or maybe the NM people have decided to further pissed me off with an announcement like this:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO STUDENTS WISHING TO REGISTER IN NM2220 The demand for NM2220--INTRO TO MEDIA WRITING -- was so huge that 50 more seats were added to the class. However, students can ONLY be added after the bidding process is over. We cannot interfere with that process at this point. We know you are concerned about whether or not you will be able to secure the modules youy need, so we will informally guarantee a place in the class to those whose bids are unsuccessful. Here is what you should do. If you are interested in NM2220, bid for the class. If your bid is not accepted, WAIT until the bidding process is over and then appeal. All CNM students who appeal will be guaranteed a seat in the class. To secure your seat in the appeal waiting list, write to Kaysi (our staff in charge of registration), letting him know that you wish to be on the appeal waiting list. Kaysi's email is cnmki@nus.edu.sg. Every CNM major in that list will be guaranteed a place in the class. Non-majors will be allowed to add the class as long as there are spots available after all the CNM majors have added the class. Please be aware that you will still have to appeal formally. Your email to Kaysi will be used to plan how many more labs we need to add. But you must still go through the appeal process. [In other words, don't assume you don't have to bid. If you do not bid for the class, you will not be allowed in it during the appeal process even if you wrote to Kaysi.] Finally, do not ask the instructors to help you. They cannot! Write to Kaysi and ask to be added to the waiting list. Thanks for your cooperation.

and i was like 'wah lao!' when i saw this announcement. what about the 826 points that they deducted from me? *argh*.. pissed pissed pissed. anyway, round 1C today. and i just dropped logic module so that i can bid for my american studies module, so i better get it! anyway, i better get the gender studies module too, at a low bidding point preferably because i dont have that many points left. =/ and .. hope that i can get the logic module again at round 3A when i accelerate.

going to start on my computing revision. exams tomorrow and i am more worried about bidding. this doesnt make sense..
